About
Dentistry has been a passion for him long before he became a dentist. Dr. Huang is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) which means that he is one of the top dentists in the field. Only about 6 percent of general dentists in the U.S. and Canada are AGD Fellows. To become a Fellow of AGD, Dr. Huang had to take over 300 courses, complete over 500 credit hours of continuing education, and pass an exam equal in difficulty to board certification. Out of all the 500 hours of CE courses, Dr. Huang had over 200 CE hours concentrated on dental implants.
Additionally, Dr.Huang has a publication called “Relationship between lateral guidance and complication incidence in single implant-supported posterior crowns” in The Journal of The Kyushu Dental Society with Professor Dr. Shin-ichi Masumi, D.D.S., Ph.D. from Kyushu Dental College. Dr. Huang was also awarded with a PHD degree from Kyushu Dental College in Japan.
Dr. Huang was also trained by Dr. Kevin J. Owoc, DMD, MSD, FAAID, DABOI in White Oak, Pennsylvania. Dr. Owoc is at the forefront of oral implantology and also founder and director of the Owoc Institute.
His hobbies outside the office consist of biking, paddling and backpack traveling with his family.
